Ritual Flame
Ritual Flame began in March of 2007 under the name Ashes Of Hell, A black metal demo was recorded but it is now lost. In early 2008 another demo was recorded. It was entitled "The Light of Death" and was 4 tracks of dark ambient music inspired by early Mortiis.
In about June or August of 2008 Andrew changed the name to Ritual Flame and began writing much slower, heavier music. The outcome was the 2008 self titled demo which was a mix between Death/Doom, Funeral doom, and harsh industrial.
"Dust In The Void",to be released through The Northern Cold, focuses more on dark atmospheres but still retains the heaviness that doom metal should have. The future of Ritual Flame is uncertain, but what everyone can expect is slow, heavy, gloomy DOOM!
