| February 21, 2011 - Next and Upcoming Releases Update |
Canadian doom merchants As Autumn Calls' next album An Autumn Departure has been sent to the manufacturer. If everything goes as plans we expect to have the tapes in our possession by the first week of March. After the success of Ritual Flame we are very excited to release more doom upon the world.
Following quickly on the heels of As Autumn Calls is another Canadian band. Black Pestilence will be reissuing their debut album Vice with a cover of The Casualties track 'For The Punx' as a bonus track. The track can be heard on Black Pestilence's MySpace Page.
Look for this in late March!
| February 13, 2011 - Néant Radical Sign With The Northern Cold |
Punk influenced black metallers Néant Radical will be releasing their upcoming opus Stealing Mind & Breaking Soul with The Northern Cold.
Stealing Mind & Breaking Soul will be at it's best when listened in solitude, as it was spawned in it!
The final touches are being made to the album and we expect to have the release out by mid summer 2011.

Due to insane work schedules and month long backpacking vacations things have been rather quiet on The Northern Cold. With the new year comes a new fire behind the label! More time and resources can be dedicated to making 2011 a grim and brutal year for us!
The most important news update is the release of two new tapes! Ritial Flame and Blodfest are available for sale and trade! They are going fast so don't hesitate to get your copies.
Next big piece of news is upcoming releases! We continue to release a wide range of extreme metal! Look for releases from As Autumn Calls (Doom from Canada), Fhoi Myore (Black metal from France), Black Pestilence (Fast pounding black metal from Canada), Killing Fields (Thrash from Thailand), Dark Mystery (Black metal from Thailand), and a few more that will be announced soon!

As Autumn Calls is hard at work in the studio recording their new album An Autumn Departure. The artwork is by Wallace R. Gillard. If everything goes well The Northern Cold will be releasing the album in late August. Just in time for autumn.

| June 5, 2010 - Abigail - Alive... In Tokyo Part 2 Now Available |
Our first release is finally available! Alive... In Tokyo Part 2 is Abigail's latest live effort. The first 50 people who order it will receive an autographed copy with blood red cassette. The remaining 150 have a black cassette.
Trades, of the black version, are more than welcome but act quickly as stock is running out.

Ritual Flames' opus Dust In The Void,to be released through The Northern Cold, focuses more on dark atmospheres but still retains the heaviness that doom metal should have. The future of Ritual Flame is uncertain, but what everyone can expect is slow, heavy, gloomy DOOM!

As Autumn Calls are entering the studio in spring/early summer to record ten tracks of depressive melodic death doom!
An Autumn Departure and will feature songs originally written between 2005-2008. Look for it around mid to late summer 2010.
| March 5, 2010 - ABIGAIL Signs With The Northern Cold |
Japanese drunkards and black thrashers Abigail will be releasing another in their legendary series of live album through The Northern Cold Productions.
Alive... In Tokyo Part 2 was recorded at The Wall in Tokyo on January 10, 2010 and features such Abigail classics as Satanik Metal Fucking Hell, Teenage Metal Fuck and Sexual Metal Holocaust. Ending off the album is a brutal cover of N.M.E.'s Lethal Dose.
Look for it in May 2010.
